Meet Our Team

Dr. Budrewicz is originally from Windsor, Ontario where he grew up and earned his undergraduate university degree. He graduated and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in the United States. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He believes in high quality dentistry that is patient focused and individualized. He is committed to lifelong learning and using new skills and technologies to provide the best care possible. He attends multiple continuing education courses in order to stay current with the ever advancing knowledge and technologies of dentistry. He takes pride in all areas of dentistry, including treating children. Dr. Budrewicz is certified and experienced in the placement and restoration of dental implants. He participated in a dental humanitarian trip to Honduras where he had the privilege of providing care to those who would otherwise receive no care. He believes this experience has made him a better person and dentist and he looks forward to future humanitarian opportunities.

Dr. Budrewicz and his wife moved to the Blue Mountains in 2009. They have two sons and a daughter. Dr. Budrewicz was drawn to the area by the healthy, active and relaxed lifestyle. He enjoys skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and cycling, golfing and the waterfront in the summer. He enjoys the small town charm and the friendly, warm people. He is honored to be an active member of the Thornbury community. He looks forward to meeting you and your family.

Dr. Gigone received his D.D.S. from the University of Toronto in 1984. Dr. Gigone takes pride in providing each of his patients with personalized attention and treatment. He has participated in courses in Sedation, Implant and Cosmetic dental services in order to provide his patients with the most informed care possible. He is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association.

Dr. Gigone resides in the Georgian triangle with his large family of 6 and 2 dogs. He enjoys cycling, trap shooting, fishing, boating and car racing.

Dr. Robinson is a graduate of the University of Toronto. He first obtained his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Neuroscience and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Robinson was one of three dentists selected for a one-year General Practice Residency program at St. Michael’s Hospital Department of Dentistry. He gained valuable experience and knowledge in hospital-based dentistry. Upon completing the program, Dr. Robinson first associated in his hometown of Scarborough, then moved north to Muskoka where he had spent his summers as a child. Over time he built two dental practices as a solo practitioner in the lovely Muskoka area. He served for several years on the executive of Muskoka Simcoe Dental Society and continues to dedicate many hours each year to continuing dental education.

On a personal note, Dr. Robinson has two children. They have both recently completed University degrees and have started on their own careers. He was a hockey trainer and taxi driver for his son’s hockey team for many years. Summers included time at the family cottage in Muskoka. In 2015 he was able to travel to Peru for a trip of a lifetime with his children. They completed the Lares Trek and visited Machu Picchu. Now that Dr. Robinson’s children have left the nest, he has had time to enjoy his other passions such as road cycling, downhill skiing, hiking, kayaking, camping, snowshoeing, and water skiing.

With over 30 years of experience as a general dentist in Ontario, a great sense of humour, great leadership skills and a wonderful team player Dr. Robinson will provide our patients with excellent care.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? Our office is more modern as far as our equipment and training is concerned, yet we keep the “small town” feel. I also enjoy the other staff members, we are like a family.
Why I love our community? I enjoy getting to know so many people from our community. I think it is all our residents that make our community great!
What I enjoy outside the office? I enjoy my family, friends and the outdoors.

Why I love our community? We have always been drawn to the Georgian Bay area by the outdoors activities, such as skiing, hiking and the beautiful scenery. I really love the small town feeling, the tranquility and serene nature, and especially the friendly, warm people and their healthy, active and relaxed lifestyle.
What I enjoy outside the office? I enjoy spending time with my other half, our cat and dog, always exploring new places. We love camping, gardening, boating, biking and winter sports.

Why I love our community?Residing in Thornbury for just over 30 years and raising our family here, our area offers not only spectacular views, but the small town warmth of knowing and helping your neighbours.
What I enjoy outside the office? As empty nesters I enjoy visiting our two sons and spending quality family time with all. Summers are full of camping and spending time with friends catching some, as my husband calls “wind therapy”, motorcycling. My highlight is always the destination to ride and find the next great restaurant!

Why I love our community? My family moved to Thornbury for the active outdoor lifestyle. I quickly fell in love with the historical century buildings, artisan shops, art galleries, fine dining eateries, apple orchards, local cideries, unique community events and exceptional healthcare services. Above all, what I love most is the community’s willingness to enrich the lives of our children by consistently and generously supporting our elementary school initiatives and outreach programs.
What I enjoy outside the office? I enjoy time with my husband and two boys, mountain biking, swimming, snowboarding, evening campfires while artistically documenting our family moments through life-inspired photography.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? I have been working in the dental field for over 15 years. I enjoy helping every patient achieve a lifetime of optimal dental. I like the friendly and welcoming environment.
Why I love our community? I moved back to the area after 10 years living outside of Canada. I felt Thornbury was the perfect spot to finally make roots.
What I enjoy outside the office? My interests include snowboarding, being on the water and travelling.

Why I like Thornbury Dental and dentistry? I have been a hygienist for 17 years. I love being able to treat patients and see the difference oral health has made in their lives. I love educating patients on how to take better care of themselves, starting with their teeth and gums. Thornbury Dental is a great place to work, from the warm reception on entering to the happy staff always smiling. The office has been a warm and welcoming environment.
Why I love our community? I love everything about living here. The kindness, calmness and friendliness of everyone stands out. I enjoy the millions of areas to explore. The small town feeling really rings true here.
What I enjoy outside the office? As a working mom of twins, spare time is hard. My husband and I love the outdoors. Skiing is a big part of our lives in the winter and hiking, camping, beach days and enjoying time with our family and friends in our yard having BBQ’s and campfires in the summer. My husband is a meat smoking king! We are so excited to have our children grow up in this wonderful place.

Why I love our community? Growing up I always wanted to reside in Thornbury. I have always loved the water and the quaintness of the town. The amenities and the school make Thornbury an ideal location to raise a family.
What I enjoy outside the office? I like staying active and spending time with my family.
